Atlanta-based Urban Classics today introduced GE's Trade Flow Finance service that provides importers 60-day, interest free terms for products sourced from producer COE Limited in China. "With COE Limited we have developed a range of products that is broadly appealing to young Americans, and we will encourage retailers to create galleries offering a wide selection of case goods and accessories. With the GE program, COE will pay the 60-day finance costs so importers can comfortably order multiple containers and keep the replacement stock flowing" said Scott Holliday of Urban Classics. "With the Trade Flow Finance service, we plan to increase our sales in the U.S. by making it easier for our customers to import, finance and sell our Urban Classics products." GE Capital Solutions, Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) developed Trade Flow Finance in response to furniture industry demand for financial tools that will assist importers to grow their retail sales with longer terms to pay for their imports. "Urban Classics offers an exciting array of products from COE Limited - products that seem very much in tune with consumer demand. We are confident they can accelerate their growth by helping their importers extend the payment period," said Gary McGugan, CDF's senior vice president of Strategic Growth.
