Chris Casson Madden, one of the leading authorities on design trends and decorating today, will be featured at IFDA's Spring Design Seminar on Friday, April 24, 1998.
With more than twenty years in the design field, Chris's life reflects the many roles she plays, which include being design reporter for the "Oprah Show, and host of her own show on Home and Garden Television Network's "Interiors by Design." She is also author of the recently released A ROOM OF HER OWN: Women's Personal Spaces as well as eleven other best-selling titles, including Chris Madden's Guide to Personalizing Your Home, Bathrooms, and Kitchens. Chris joined Ladies' Home Journal in November 1997 as Contributing Home Design Editor and still continues her weekly newspaper column, "Interiors by
Design," for Scripps Howard News Service, which goes out to more than 360 newspapers.
In her seminar "A Room of Her Own" Chris will discuss her new book on women's personal spaces. The seminar and luncheon are scheduled for Friday, April 24, 1998, 12:00 p.m. IHFC Green Wing, 11 th Floor, International Ballroom B. The event is sponsored by IHFC and the International Furnishings and Design Association Educational Foundation.
