PROFITsystems has added 110 new enhancements to the current version of this PROFITwindows software, as well as 3 complete new sub-systems, including an industry first. They will demo the software in their space on Main 12 in the Retailer Resource Center during Market. The new sub-systems include FIDX standards-compliant XML EDI, Manager's digital dashboard, and SQL-based Sales Analysis Reports. The industry-standard XML EDI integration is the first available to manufacturers and retailers alike. The first four FIDX-approved functions (export of purchase orders, and import of merchandise acknowledgements, advance ship notices, and invoices) are now programmed into the software, to automate these processes so that purchase orders can be electronically transmitted to your vendors and the return documents are received electronically. No more faxing of purchase orders; they are now sent electronically to your vendor's production-planning software, reducing errors and shortening reorder lead times. The Manager's digital dashboard shows "everything" on one screen. You can look at important data for today or a user-definable date range, and have the power of multiple levels of drill-down detail. You can look at sales, written or delivered, for today or a user-defined date range, by store, kept current up-to-the-minute. Want to see what your Accounts Payable situation is? You can look at it by store, by vendor, and by invoice! Accounts Receivable? Look at it by store, or even by each customer's balance, current as of right now! Inventory, sales, cash receipts--current data is displayed on your digital dashboard to keep your finger on the pulse of your business, minute by minute! SQL-based Sales Analysis runs faster than previous versions, with four new reports. Cost on-hand and on-order are included on all inventory reports, and more ranges are available on all reports. In addition, automated merchandise transfers for pickup or delivery, automated integration of parts purchase orders with service orders, and a program/report scheduler continue to be popular features, as they have been since PROFITwindows was first released in 2000.
