Record 430+ Temporary Exhibitors Showing At Winter Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas Market announced recently that over 430 new and returning gift and home décor exhibitors are participating in its newly expanded temporary exhibition space—The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market, which run Sunday, January 24, through Wednesday, January 27—during the Winter 2016 Las Vegas Market. 2016. Earlier this year, Las Vegas Market announced the opening of a second Pavilion, expanding the Market’s temporary exhibit space by 50%, to accommodate increasing demand for temporary space.

“Las Vegas Market is thrilled to welcome the largest-ever number of gift and home décor temporary exhibitors to the industry’s leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “The reception to our August 2015 debut of The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market was beyond enthusiastic, and we are delighted to build on that momentum to expand and enhance the resources for buyers again this Winter.”

The expansion of the Pavilions into two locations allows for significant growth in the DESIGN, GIFT, HANDMADE and HOME categories, located in Pavilion #1; as well as DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace, now self-contained in Pavilion #2. Beyond exhibits, The Pavilions also will offer an expanded selection of buyer amenities within the exhibit hall, including a new food court, bar and lounge; a new seminar room with daily programming and product demos; free on-site and hotel shuttle service; complimentary cocktails, grab-and-go breakfasts and more.

Key changes to Pavilion #1 exhibits include the launch of a new, juried showcase of luxury HOME merchandise, featuring a select group of high-end vendors, including: Amalia Home Collection, Bima Trading, Busatti, Eliko Antique Rugs, The Global Craftsmen, Kevin O' Brien Studio, Little Living Shop LLC, M3LD, Owen Mortensen and Heirloom, Parota Distribution Fine Furniture Collection, and Paulette Rollo. In total, the HOME category will feature approximately 90 vendors, 32 of which are exhibiting at Las Vegas Market for the first time. HOME newcomers include: Alexia Meditation Seat, Antiochia USA, Chappy Wrap, Cheesecloth & Buttermilk, Inc., Debbie Sun Design, Earth Rugs, Lilian Mendez, Modelli Creations, My Town Art, Superb Minerals, WGI-Gallery and Wild Wings, LLC.

Winter Market will see a striking surge in GIFT offerings with more than 170 vendors participating, including 63 newcomers. Returning exhibitors include: Adams & Company, Coelacanth, Colonial Candle, Enrico Products Gratitude, The Grommet, Karen Lu-Home Couture, Melissa & Doug, My Mind’s Eye, The Naked Bee, PaperSalt, Scojo New York, and True Fabrications. Newcomers include: Alexis Matox Design, Luckies of London, The Napkins US, Rose Gonzalez, Santoro UK South Bend Chocolate Company, Ulster Weavers, and Zutano.

Two curated and aesthetically-focused categories, DESIGN and HANDMADE, collectively will present some 60 resources. DESIGN exhibitors include new vendors: bambu, Devall and Allen, Eleven Design Studio, Golie Photo and Martone Cycling. HANDMADE newcomers are: 12 Small Things, Alice Sturzinger LLC, Brilliant Imports, Cocoon, Earthwood LLC, Johnny Loves June, Hamamlique, Kozakh, Objects With Purpose, O.D.A.A.T. LLC, Pilgrim Imports, Sarah Cavender Metalworks, Slow Burn Glass, Thumbprint Artifacts and Weber Company.

DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace is expanding into the 30,000-square-foot Pavilion #2, with nearly 100 exhibitors offering a unique array of immediate delivery products, including vintage and antique merchandise, ethnic handicrafts and cash-and-carry goods. Distinguished Transport, recognized as an industry leader in specialty moving and preferred shipper of antiques shows across the country, will provide onsite shipping services for all immediate delivery orders.

DISCOVERIES will feature more than 20 new exhibitors, including: Global Swap Shop/Sarah Smith Vintage Style, Grenouille French Antiques, Industrial Chic, John Mazur & Co., Ludwiga’s Linen, Miss Rose Sister Violet, Rust and Roses, Strange Imports/Eastern Elements, Vintage Addiction, and Vintage Studio, alongside returning vendors, including The Barn at Hoey Ranch, Bittersweet Springs, Blue Ocean Traders, Bombshell Betty, French at Heart, Full Bloom Cottage, Go Home/Golden Oldies, House of Cindy, Junk Girls, Lisa Souers Designs, My Mothers Buttons and Monahan Papers.

Pavilion #2 also will feature immediate delivery jewelry resources including; Billie’s Jewelry and Accessories, Charlie’s Leather, Cranston Jewelry, Delmundo Jewelry, Ethos, Jackie Jones Collection, Mikala’s Designs, Ole Gift and Sisi Amber.

Both Pavilions will feature a series of educational programming for buyers. Seminars on tap in Pavilion 1 are “Kick Start the New Year! It’s The Year For Retail Success,” on Sunday, January 24, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.; “Creative Promotions & Special Events,” on Monday, January 25, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.; “Mission Based Merchandising: How Retail Can Support Vision,” on Tuesday, January 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and “Cash in on the Buy Local Trend,” on Wednesday, January 27, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Within Pavilion 2, DISCOVERIES will feature daily personal product demonstrations (from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the hour) by vintage artisans, giving buyers the opportunity to learn more about the creative process that is fueling the up-cycle movement across all gift and home décor categories.

Both Pavilions also will feature special curated docent-led tours for buyers. In Pavilion 1, Antique Young Guns and French Country Cottage will lead tours on Sunday, January 24, and Monday, January 25, respectively; In Pavilion 2, the Day Spa Association and Museum Store Association will both lead tours on Monday, January 25. All tours are free, but require advance registration as space is limited.

Special events in both Pavilions include “Opening Night in the Pavilions” on Sunday, January 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. – when buyers can enjoy late night shopping until 7 p.m. with complimentary entertainment, beer and wine. Other buyer amenities at the Pavilions include free grab-and-go breakfasts, free shuttle service, a new food court, bar and lounge, and daily food and beverage events, including complimentary brunch cocktails from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and afternoon cocktails from 4 to 6 p.m.

The permanent showrooms in Buildings A, B and C will run Sunday, January 24 through Thursday, January 28, 2016. The Pavilions and DISCOVERIES run Sunday through Wednesday, with staggered show hours on all four days: Sunday, January 24, from 9am to 7pm, Monday and Tuesday, January 25-26, from 9am to 6pm, and Wednesday, January 27, from 9am to 4pm. The Pavilions and DISCOVERIES are closed on Thursday, January 28.
