Wildwood recently announced a new Collection from interior designer Meg Braff. Known for her exuberant take on traditional design, Meg Braff creates livable spaces imbued with playful glamour and a modern perspective. This fall, Meg joins Wildwood and the brand’s 120-year legacy with her debut collection of lighting, furniture and accessories. Meg has been sourcing from the North-Carolina based brand for over 20 years and was thrilled with the opportunity to bring her ideas forward and create pieces, drawing on years of inspiration.
The Meg Braff collection pays homage to mid-20th century Palm Beach chic, inspired by Meg’s enduring love for the tropical town where she is opening a new interior design studio and shop in fall of 2021. Each piece is pared down and simplified, emulating the ease of living one finds at the beach through classic, functional shapes and a touch of whimsy. Subtle nods to Palm Beach are found throughout, with hues in lush sky blue, green and white, scalloped details inspired by vintage clothing, and upholstery details seen in Slim Aarons photographs. More pronounced echoes are seen through palm fronds and leafy lighting, traditional forms given new life through a plaster-like finish inspired by Serge Roche, as well as accents of brass and cane. The collection extends beyond lighting to include mirrors, side tables, waste baskets, planters and umbrella and magazine stands.
