Trump Home To Introduce Mar-a-Lago Collection

Furniture World Magazine

The Trump Organization announced the launch of its latest collection for the home, Mar-a-Lago. Inspired by the infamous Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, the collection will be unveiled this summer at the June and July home and accessory markets and will include furniture, lighting, floor fashion, home accessories, room décor and home fragrance. The Mar-a-Lago collection reflects the magnificent and opulent design of the historic Mar-a-Lago Club that Donald J. Trump restored and owns. Inspired by the stunning Old World features of Spanish, Venetian and Portuguese styles, the elaborate detail and extraordinary history of Mar-a-Lago has been captured in each piece. “Mar-a-Lago is going to be a great success,” stated Cathy Hoffman Glosser, Executive Vice President of Global Licensing, The Trump Organization. “The designs are inspired by Donald Trump’s personal collection, which makes the product truly unique. It will be an outstanding launch in Las Vegas. No one in the business will want to miss it.” Trump Home launched in July 2007 with two distinct collections, Westchester and Central Park. The industry and consumer response to both collections has been unprecedented, with both collections available at hundreds of retailers and showrooms in the U.S. In addition, the Trump Home furniture collection is sold in over 15 international territories, with plans for further growth in 2008. “The quality of Trump Home product, combined with the exclusive design and style of the brand has been extremely well received by consumers,” said Sara Nemerov, Vice President of Global Licensing, The Trump Organization. “The launch of the Mar-a-Lago collection is highly anticipated, and we look forward to continued success and growth in the home category.” Trump Home furniture has enjoyed additional success with multiple industry awards, including the 2007 Home Award for American Furniture Design, sponsored by Home Magazine and “Best Brand Extension of the Year” in 2007 from License! Magazine. It was nominated in the category of “Occasional Storage” for the 2007 Pinnacle Awards, sponsored by the American Society of Furniture Designers, and “Best Corporate Brand Licensee of the Year” in 2008 by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA).
