French Furnishings Company Miliboo to Unveil AI-Integrated Smart Sofa at CES 2019

Miliboo, the French home furnishings company and a CES 2019 Smart Home Innovation Award honoree, announced that it will introduce their new Smart Sofa at CES Las Vegas, January 8-11, exhibiting from booth 50855 at the Eureka Park Marketplace in the Sands Expo Center. The world’s first smart sofa will also be on display at the Innovation Awards Showcase, and at the Business France/Frenchtech exhibits at the Sands.

Miliboo’s Smart Sofa offers a unique home theater experience, providing a global home automation solution, wireless device charging and integrated lighting. With an integrated touch screen, the fully connected sofa has the ability to maximize the audio and video experience while the user watches sports, movies, television shows or streaming content. The Smart Sofa can also control all IoT connected objects within the home including lighting systems, alarms, heating, garage doors and more, offering users a truly personalized and unique smart home experience.

Designed by Miliboo founder and president Guillaume Lachenal, the connected sofa allows the user to enjoy a full 4D sensory experience for the first time from the comfort of home. 3D images burst from the screen, and the sofa shakes along with sounds for a truly immersive experience. Integrated into the armrest is everything one would need while enjoying an evening at home in front of the TV. A wireless device charging station ensures your phone never runs low on power; the Miliboo Connected app permits user control for the entire home while providing access to designated online streaming platforms and complete control over a smart TV set. The smart sofa integrates several technologies, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Android OS, all consumer-oriented and user-friendly. The sensory and immersive system is built-in under the couch base and includes a vibrator seat, adjustable lightning with LED lamps, two loudspeakers of 120 watts each, a subwoofer of 720 watts and an amplifier.

Smart assistants Google Home and Alexa by Amazon are integrated into the armrest, which also contains the Qi wireless smartphone charger.
