Abbyson To Host Two Design And Networking Events At New Vegas Showroom

Furniture World News Desk on 7/15/2017

Abbyson recently announced that it will introduce new products across 13 lifestyle categories, further bolstered by complimentary educational and networking programs open to all market attendees, debuting at the Summer Las Vegas Market, July 30-Aug. 3.

Abbyson will host two events featuring prominent industry insiders, designed to educate retailers and interior designers on the latest trends in home design and technology, and provide high level networking opportunities for market-goers. Both events will be held inside its custom showroom, located at the Building B Entrance.

"Our goal at Abbyson is to continue to elevate the experience for our customers each and every market by delivering an abundance of new, fashion-forward products and directional programs that help our customers chart their course for the year ahead. Nearly 90 percent of the designs featured in our showroom this summer are brand new-with a big color story in upholstery and leather and inspired largely by the fast-moving apparel and fashion market. This is probably the biggest push we've ever had in new product introductions," said Doddy Rafieha, Senior Vice President of Abbyson.

Helping to translate the color and trend story will be special guest and global trend forecaster, Michelle Lamb of The Trend Curve, presenting "The Fashion of Home," on Tues., Aug. 1. Starting at 11:45 a.m., attendees can enjoy a light lunch followed by an original presentation at 12 noon focused on the global trends influencing tomorrow's home-from color, materials, and even cues from the runway. The event is co-sponsored by Interior Design Society (IDS). To attend the event, RSVP to trade@abbysonliving.com.

On Mon., July 31 Abbyson partners with some of the industry's most progressive leaders in design technology utilization and community building for a powerhouse networking event and panel discussion that will empower attendees to "Build Your Own Killer Design Tribe." As collaboration and key relationships are the cornerstones of the new design landscape, panelists Jackie Von Tobel and Deb Barrett of Soft Design Lab, along with celebrity designer Kelli Ellis, Joseph Haecker of Designwall, and Lee Rotenberg of IVY, will discuss how designers can create their own tribe of supporters, collaborators, and suppliers to help navigate the new world of design. The event is currently at capacity.

Abbyson is one of the fastest-growing online brands serving all major e-commerce and Top 100 omni-channel retailers-combined with vertically integrated capabilities, an ever-changing product mix, and vast digital infrastructure. "We are passionate about enabling today's lifestyles through trend-driven designs that resonate, accessible product information online, efficient drop-shipping and delivery, backed by personalized customer support," added Rafieha.

Abbyson's custom-built Las Vegas showroom, located at the entrance of Building B, accommodates a greater presentation of Abbyson's growing product line and features a designer's lounge, hospitality and espresso bars, and several private conference spaces.
