Posh+Lavish Honors Retailers for Funding More Than 100 Life-Changing Medical Procedures

Furniture World News Desk on 5/4/2018

Posh+Lavish recently announced that it has honored its top retailers across the United States with plaques for each store after funding over 100 surgeries to children in need.

The company donates 25-percent of their profits to CURE International, a nonprofit organization that provides treatment to children overseas with severe conditions like clubfoot, bowed legs, cleft lips, untreated burns, and hydrocephalus. Over the past year, the philanthropic mattress manufacturer funded more than 100 surgeries to children in need.

The number of operations financed by mattress sales ranges from one per location all the way up to 18. In addition to the Posh+Lavish and CURE International logos, each award features the name of dealer and number of surgeries funded through sales made at their store.

“We wanted to be sure we took time out to say thank you to our retailers and let them know that what they do every day is providing a miracle for someone. Every operation is like a gift from our dealers and their customers,” said Kurt Ling, principal of Posh+Lavish. “This plaque not only symbolizes our partnership with each retailer and CURE International, but all we can accomplish together for those in need.”

“Support from Posh+Lavish through its retailer business in 2017 was impactful in helping us bring care to children who otherwise would have no hope for healing. They’re making a life-changing difference” said Tim Smith, chief advancement officer of CURE International.
