Nourison Introduces Painterly Designs, Neutral Animal Prints, Flat Weaves and More

Furniture World News Desk on 1/28/2018

Floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison will release new broadloom carpet designs and collections for 2018 at The International Surface Event on January 30th – February 1st in Las Vegas.

Nourison will introduce Brushworks, in both Diffused and Variegated designs in red, blue, ivory, taupe and grey. The designs feature abstract brushstrokes, which is on trend with the painterly patterns seen across fashion, accessories and home decor.

New broadloom carpet collections also include lustrous animal prints in soothing neutrals and soft primaries from Lusterpoint in Leopard Point, Striae Point and Tiger Point styles, Astor in Astor Square and Astor Wave designs, which is densely tufted of Fine New Zealand Wool and Nourlon™ high luster nylon, and Splendor in Spendor Stria and Splendor Wave designs in a series of hand-loomed flatweaves that shimmer with lustrous yarns.

Transcend is a new style featuring waves of abstract color and pattern in a versatile construction of New Zealand Wool and Nourlon™ high luster nylon. It is a companion to top-selling style Traverse, which has new color additions for the show. Other color and style additions to existing best-sellers include Cosmopolitan, Grand Parterre and Grosse Pointe Collections.

New from Nourtex are Kiawah, a textured hand-loomed flat weave in a classic chevron pattern, Bellevue and Bellingham value-oriented wool blend textures in striated looks, and Chainstitch, a unique hand-loom design exhibiting a striated crochet look.

With the market’s continued interest in flat weaves, the Nourtex Caribbean Collection will make its debut with three styles, San Juan, Havana and Kingston. These jacquard patterned natural looking flat weaves are decorative, versatile, and offer tremendous value.

The hot 2017 introduction of Maxell Collection will get a new addition: an abstract, high-low cut pile texture called Fieldstone. To round out the recently introduced Euro collection, Nourtex will add a vintage, distressed damask, named London.

Hagaman new introductions include the Natura Collection with Apex and Chasm styles, which are heavily textured all wool heathers, and Braiden, which features a textured loop in a crosshatch pattern. Hagaman will also add to its best-selling Elegance Collection with new style Abstract Chic and color additions for Velvet Chic.

Nourison, located at Booth 6133 at Surfaces, includes new products from Nourison, Nourtex and Hagaman Carpet.
