Delandis Upholstery Targets Millennials At High Point Market

DeLandis Furniture recently announced a new collection of two-over-two power motion leather sofas, to be revealed at the Fall High Point Market, highlighting the space-saving design that incorporates all of the function and comfort of traditional, larger reclining frames.

The six two-over-two reclining sofas span a mere 82 inches compared to 90-inch or longer sofas making them a better fit in smaller living spaces. The right-sized sofas include the signature DeLandis gel-infused memory foam seat cushions, full-power, lay-flat reclining mechanisms, corner blocks with glue for enhanced frame durability and availability in two grades of top grain leather in 20 colors.

The new collection will marry with DeLandis’ ability to mix multiple styles and colors on one shipping container, allowing retailers to build a complete leather motion program from one, reliable resource.
“There’s no question the millennial consumer needs smaller scaled furnishings to fit in their homes, but they shouldn’t have to give up style, function and comfort along with size,” said Larry Crink, DeLandis’ president of sales and product development. “Through creative engineering and innovative design, our DeLandis two-over-two offerings meet this particular consumer’s need for a great looking, power reclining sofa that fits comfortably in a smaller living space.”

All of the right-scaled frames, along with DeLandis’ newly unveiled DeCoro motion introductions, will be on display in their showroom at 407 Plaza Suites for retailers attending High Point Market Oct. 22-26.
