Classic Brands Helps Mattress Retailers Meet New Customer Demand For Online Bed-In-A-Box Product

Specialty bedding manufacturer Classic Brands is building on the sleep industry’s increased momentum in the hybrid mattress category at the Fall High Point with key selections from its Urban Loft family of offerings. The mattresses are designed for retailers to compete effectively with online bed-in-a-box retailers that are disrupting the sleep industry.

Classic Brands Urban Loft collection offers a good-better-best merchandising story across three lines – Hybrid Black, Hybrid Blue and Specialty. Classic Brands will spotlight two beds from each Urban Loft collection at the Market Oct. 22-26.

Hybrid Black sits at the top end of Urban Loft with queen mattresses priced to retail from $899 to $1,199. The mattresses crafted with a robust 1,272-coil count of six-inch encased micro coil spring unit and offer a supportive combination of encased coils, memory foam and latex. The 14-inch model boasts a layer of gel-infused memory foam and a layer of latex foam atop the coil base. Each mattress is dressed in a quilted, upscale knit cover for a luxurious look and feel.

Hybrid Blue, the mid-tier segment of Urban Loft, provides a 768-encased coil spring unit and offers a cushion firm feel. Dressed in crisp white with cool blue highlights, queen mattresses are priced to retail from $799 to $999.

The Urban Loft Specialty line is part of Classic Brands’ growing bed-in-a-box selection. Available in visco or latex, queen mattresses are priced at $499 to $699 retail and offers an accessible product for the omni-channel approach many retailers are considering.

The Urban Loft collection will be showcased in the Classic Brands High Point Market showroom at 407 Plaza Suites.
