Libby Langdon to Discuss How Today’s Consumers Live During Dallas Market Talk

Designer, author and makeover television personality Libby Langdon will deliver a market-wide presentation about changing consumer lifestyles and furnishings needs June 26 during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.

In her presentation, Langdon will share insights from the front lines of makeover TV, including her perspective about what today's consumers are looking for in home furnishings and how they want to live. With knowledge gained firsthand from traveling across America and making over real homes, Langdon will discuss current design dilemmas and the solutions and products that she see's consumers wanting for their homes.

In addition, Langdon's talk will provide a behind-the-scenes look at home makeover TV and the making of her show, "Daykeover with Libby Langdon." In a fun, fast-paced and informative session, Langdon will share the story of how she got into makeover TV, its ups and downs - including blatantly bad spaces turned into blissfully beautiful rooms - and all the craziness that happens in between. In addition to "Daykeover," Langdon also has appeared on NBC's "The TODAY Show," HGTV's "Small Space, Big Style," "The Rachael Ray Show," "The View" and LXTV's "Open House."

Langdon's lighting collection for Crystorama is available for viewing during the June 24-27 Dallas International Lighting Market being held concurrently with the Total Home & Gift Market. The Libby Langdon Lighting for Crystorama line, which is being expanded this market with three new collections, consists of chandeliers, wall sconces and ceiling mount fixtures that reflect the designer's signature style of combining classic lines with a chic, modern twist to complement contemporary lifestyles. Along with her TV work, Langdon also is the author of House Beautiful magazine's monthly column "Libby's Makeover" and the book "Libby Langdon's Small Space Solutions." Langdon will address market attendees on Friday, June 26 at noon followed by a meet-and- greet session in the World Trade Center Hall of Nations. The event is open to all market attendees.

Langdon also will be available to meet retailers in the Crystorama showroom on June 25 and the morning of June 26. In addition, she will be conducting a Q&A session at 4 p.m. on June 26 in the Home Space Gallery, located at WTC 190 to discuss her Interior design business, her media work, and provide tips and tactics on managing your own PR. Langdon will share what inspires her product design and how she promotes her products once they hit the marketplace.
