Eugene Alletto, bedgear® founder and CEO, has been named a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® 2015 Award in the New York region.

The prestigious business awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance, leadership and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The leaders nominated for the award are selected by an independent panel of judges. As the first global award of its kind, Entrepreneur of The Year celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries.

“The heart of bedgear is the dedicated team of employees that have been committed to the company’s continued success and growth,” said Eugene Alletto. “It is truly an honor to be named a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award and I share this nomination with the bedgear team that works tirelessly to drive our business, develop our retail partnerships and diligently pursue our vision of providing only the best in performance sleep and recovery.”

Award recipients will be announced at a special black tie awards gala on Tuesday, June 16th at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, with a cocktail reception and silent auction for the USO at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony.
