HGTV HOME reported that the HGTV HOME™ Furniture Collection’s Room Crashers Sweepstakes sent consumers rushing to enter for an opportunity to win a grand prize package of $5,000 worth of furniture for a room makeover and a special design consultation from popular HGTV host, Todd Davis.

Six other entrants won a roomful of furniture from the HGTV HOME Furniture Collection. In a random drawing, Dee Gatte, whose local HGTV HOME Furniture retailer is Fitzgerald Home Furnishings (formerly Routzahns Way Furniture) in Frederick MD, was selected as the Grand Prize Winner. When Gatte was notified of her good fortune, she gushed, “This is extra exciting for me because I’ve never won anything, so this is a big ‘woohoo!’”

In the meantime, Gatte will work with the store’s design team to select the HGTV Home Furniture pieces for her home. Moreover, Frederick-area home enthusiasts and HGTV devotees will be treated to a special bonus as a result of Gatte’s win. Fitzgerald’s Home Furnishings will host an exclusive meet-and-greet with Room Crashers’ star, Todd Davis, on Thursday, September 18th, 6-8PM at the retailer’s renovated farmhouse-turned-HGTV HOME showplace adjacent to their gallery at 100 Routzahns Way.
