Furniture World News Desk on 7/25/2014

At the upcoming Summer Las Vegas Market, July 27-31, 2014, HTL International (Showroom B-0900) reported that it will introduce several new furniture groups with an emphasis on modern motion product, the company’s fastest growing category. The company plans to debut six new motion frames and six stationary frames. In addition, HTL will be introducing new leathers and new fabrics, growing choices in the line.

“This season, we are bringing more unique detailing to our motion frames,” said Stefanie Lucas, President of HTL Furniture Inc., North America. “HTL is a known leader in leather upholstery, and now we are offering even more interesting treatments that will catch the consumer’s eye on the retail selling floor.”

Mr. Yong Tat Phua, the parent company’s Group Managing Director and CEO of HTL International said, “HTL’s largest style category around the globe is modern motion. We see all markets interested in this kind of style selection, and the North American consumer is right on trend with this.”

Available in both fabric and leather, style 10379 and 10371 are two new Modern Motion collections. The first features a pillow-style headrest, comfort top arms and a tapered block leg. The collection’s most eye-catching characteristic is its peek-a-boo trim that takes place of the traditional welt.

The 10371 contemporary motion collection features a pillow-style headrest, pillow-top arms that extend up the exposed back, and peek-a-boo detail along the seat cushions, arm pads, as well as a unique design on the inside back cushions. Both styles are available in multiple configurations.
