Leggett & Platt® Consumer Products Group Announces New President

Leggett & Platt®, Incorporated, recently announced the appointment of John Case as President.

Mr. Case has had a long and distinguished career in the consumer products and residential furnishings industries. Prior to joining CPG, he was a partner in Thinking Dimensions Consulting, a global consultancy, where he was part of the strategy and implementation practice. From 2004 through 2008, he served as President and CEO of Electrolux Home Care Products. Before joining Electrolux, Mr. Case held senior management positions at La-Z-Boy Inc., a top source for the U.S. residential furnishings market. While at La-Z-Boy, Mr. Case served as President of the La-Z-Boy Upholstery Group and also as President of La-Z-Boy Residential. As President of CPG, Mr. Case will be responsible for all of the business unit’s primary operating activities, and will office out of the Chicago facility.

Mr. Case is a graduate of Michigan State University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997.
