Profit Management Promotions Hires Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager

Profit Management Promotions (PMP), one of the nation's leading furniture sales promotion, liquidation and consulting companies, has hired Pete Timmins as a regional sales manager. Timmins, a 25-year industry veteran, will focus on expanding the firm's services in the Mid-Atlantic United States.

After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Pete Timmins entered the retail furniture business as a showroom salesperson in 1988. He quickly developed his career into being the sole business owner of a 24,000 sq. ft. furniture retail store. For the next 20 years, Pete experienced extreme changes in business climate, such as mass military deployments, devastating hurricanes, the nationwide housing bubble and recession. His flexible nature allowed him great success in many areas such as advertising, buying and merchandising. Pete responded and adapted the furniture showroom to increase margins during the toughest of times.

Over the years, Pete has become proficient in inventory management and competitive with low, medium and high end Home Furnishings as well as the Mattress and Casual Outdoor areas. Pete has marketed all demographics including Resort, 1st Home and Retirement Communities. He has kept up with the changing trends by attending trade shows around the country, including gift and accessory, casual outdoor as well as the major furniture markets.

Pete is taking his proven strategies "to the streets" by joining the PMP Team as a Regional Manager.
