Naturepedic To Showcase New Symphony Organic Luxury Mattress with 2-Sided, Reversible Latex Pillow-Top at Summer 2013 Las Vegas Market

Naturepedic® reported that it  will feature the company’s newly improved Symphony luxury encased-coil certified organic mattresses with a reversible, 2-sided pillow-top at the Summer 2013 Las Vegas World Market Center. Naturepedic displays in the Specialty Sleep Association (SSA) Showroom C-1565.

The 2-sided reversible pillow-top features two different comfort feels. One side is ultra plush while the other is slightly firmer. The deeper pillow-top is constructed with two, 2-inch pieces of latex with different densities for a total of 4 inches of latex, up from 3.5. Additionally certified organic stretch knit fabric covers designed to enhance the contouring feel and performance of latex will replace woven fabrics throughout the Symphony bed.

“We have had considerable success with our coil on coil and latex Symphony Organic Mattress among high-end and luxury organic consumers,” said Jeff Cik, president of Naturepedic. The upgraded reversible pillow-top luxury certified organic coil on coil mattress not only provides tangible benefits to the consumer, but gives the retailer a powerful story to tell their customers. “The retailer can now offer two different comfort feels with one SKU and they can sell a longer life ‘heirloom’ Symphony Organic Mattress,” says Cik. “This flippable topper design prolongs the life of the overall mattress. Also the pillow-top can be completely replaced over time for a fresh new mattress at a fraction of the cost. This makes the Symphony mattress an heirloom investment. The mattress with 4-inch topper combination also makes it easier to change the sheets as standard size sheets only need to be tucked in under the latex pillow-top section.”

In addition to the reversible pillow-top, the Symphony mattress features two layers of organic encased coils (over 1,600 coils in a queen size mattress) and organic cotton batting, organic coir, organic wool batting (over 15lbs.) and the custom-made organic knit mattress cover fabric. The Symphony has a 17-inch profile including a 12-inch base and a 5-inch reversible topper.
