A GOOD LEADER....

  1. knows that the 4th major reason that businesses fail is failure to match skills to the job.

  2. understands leadership can be learned – its traits developed and its methods and principles learned by men of average ability.

  3. realizes if people are deficit in some of the virtues of a leader they can always acquire them through study, effort and self-development.

  4. recognizes that humiliation, sarcasm and ridicule are never tools used by leaders to  improve morale or productivity.

  5. is aware that sessions involving discipline should be conducted in private.

  6. grasps that attending training sessions in which moderators have practical experience or empirical knowledge of balancing a budget is more effective than being taught theory from a textbook.
