Ergomotion to Spotlight their Motion Bedroom Furniture at High Point

Furniture World News Desk on 4/14/2018

Ergomotion reports that its focus for High Point Market will be increasing the number of furniture retailers who are adding the fast-growing product segment of adjustable bed bases to their floors. As a result, the company is emphasizing products and services that appeal to this audience.

“The historic velocity of the adjustable category has been in the sleep shop segment. However, we are seeing traditional furniture retailers increasingly wanting in on the opportunity and we are excited to be at the High Point Market and have the time to focus on opening up these retailers,” said Gui Peres, director of global sales for Ergomotion.

In addition to its portfolio of adjustable bed bases that are Amazon Alexa compatible, Ergomotion will spotlight its Motion Bedroom Furniture that delivers adjustability to any bed with its slim, zero-clearance design. An easy addition to the bedroom displays in a retail showroom, Motion Bedroom Furniture doesn’t require additional floor space and provides for seamless add-on sales.

Ergomotion’s three-model Element collection, part of the Motion Bedroom Furniture offering, provides a variety of functionality typically found in more traditional adjustable bases. Element3 is fully equipped with USB ports, auto head tilt, preset zero-gravity, massage, head-and-foot articulation, features wireless remote and more. The other models have a variety of the features, and each of the designs have the company’s quiet, silent-drive motors, power outage protection and gravity release.

“Home furnishings retailers are gravitating toward this category as an entree into the adjustable sleep business, and High Point is a great place to find those partners,” Peres said.

Ergomotion will be showcasing a range of its products, including Motion Bedroom Furniture, at the Spring High Point Market, April 14-18 in its showroom located at M-636 in the International Home Furnishings Center.
