HFA Welcomes New Board Members

The Home Furnishings Association (HFA) reports that it  held its annual membership meeting, Sunday, January 28, at HFA’s Retailer Resource Center during the Las Vegas Market.

HFA’s outgoing president Stephen Kidder, Vermont Furniture Gallery, Burlington, Vt. welcomed incoming president Jim Fee, Stoney Creek Furniture, Stoney Creek, Ontario. The 2018 slate of offices also includes: president elect, Sherry Sheely, Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance, North Lima, Ohio; vice president, Jesus Capo, El Dorado Furniture, Opa Lacka, Fla. and secretary/treasurer, David Gunn, Knight Furniture, Sherman, Texas.

New board members include Jim Bright, Dunk and Bright, Syracuse, N.Y.; Cynthia Heathcoe, Contemporary Living, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; David Koehler, Johnny Janosik, Laurel, Del.; Greg Rich Habitation Design, Minneapolis, Minn.; Matt Schultz, John V Schultz Furniture, Erie, Pa.; Bill Twelves, Bob Mills. Oklahoma City and Mandy Jeffries, Colfax Furniture, Greensboro, N.C.

“The Association enjoyed a successful year in 2017,” said HFA’s CEO Sharron Bradley. “Under the board’s direction we grew our education and advocacy efforts, hosted a successful networking conference and regional events and increased the value of membership through our program offerings. We look forward to another great year with our incoming officers and directors.”

Officers and board members officially began their terms on Jan. 1, 2018.
