Furniture World News Desk on 1/18/2014

DeLandis Furniture, established in 2013 through a partnership between Classic Brands and China-based DeLandis, announced it will be showing a number of new and updated models to its power motion collections at the upcoming Winter Las Vegas Market, Jan. 26th – 30th. For its Las Vegas debut, the company will feature its best selling motion furniture models with a number of new leather upholstery options as well as introducing ten new collections.

DeLandis Furniture’s new power motion Ravenna Collection consists of a three-seat sofa, loveseat and recliner. Consistent with the brand’s commitment to using quality components, the new collection, as well as all of the company’s motion offerings, features superior quality reclining mechanisms and European-engineered electronic motors and power reclining activators with child safety locks. Pieces in the Ravenna Collection are made with the company’s self-poured high performance memory foam and coiled spring seat units.

From its sectional collections, DeLandis is showing its best selling six-piece Modena Sectional, featuring two power motion recliners available with armless options at each end. Made with luxurious handcrafted leather, pieces in the line up feature a sturdy hardwood frame construction, no-sag springs and ultra-plush seat cushions. This collection will now be available in six hand-detailed leather options, an expansion from its previous standard supple dark brown leather offering.

“After many conversations with buyers and retailers at the High Point Market, we recognized that our power motion collections really captured the attention of retailers, so it only made sense to expand upon that success for Las Vegas. Since the company’s inception, we’ve worked to bring more and more options to our customers. Whether they want to offer their customers leather or fabric stationery collections, motion collections, or both, our retailers will see greater choices at Las Vegas,” said Larry Crink, responsible for sales and merchandising at DeLandis. “Our success comes from clever products, especially our cutting edge motion collections and plush memory foam seats, as well as our multiple leather options – something that we plan to continue expanding.”

DeLandis’s stationary offerings start at $899, while the motion products begin at $999.

Classic Brands and DeLandis Furniture’s full product lines can be found at the upcoming Las Vegas Market in B-970. Seahawk Designs Inc. also has a wing within the expanded showroom.
