Bernhardt has signed a lease for the 90,000-square-foot freestanding showroom building at 101 N.
Hamilton Street in High Point, NC. The luxury brand will begin renovations immediately and plans to show in the new
space at the April 2025 High Point Market. Bernhardt has been in its current International Home Furnishings Center
space for over 40 years.
“We’ve enjoyed our showroom in the IHFC for many decades and it has served us well, says Alex Bernhardt
Jr., President and CEO of Bernhardt. “As we’ve grown, our need for a showroom that embodies our brand
aesthetic has grown as well. We believe we have one of the most respected brands in the industry and are excited to
create a space as beautiful and exciting as our furniture. We look forward to unveiling the most inspiring showroom
in High Point.”
The two-story building features an open atrium and an abundance of natural light. And its location was part of the
reason that Bernhardt decided to make the showroom change. “That area around Hamilton Street is known as the
Design District and it definitely attracts both interior designers and retail buyers,” said Gregory Heller,
Vice President of Merchandising for Residential Casegoods. “We’re looking forward to having a new home
that is in such a great Market neighborhood and that will be a terrific backdrop for our furniture designs.”
For the upcoming fall High Point Market, taking place October 26-30, Bernhardt will be in its IHFC location on the
6th floor of the Design Center.
