American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation Elects Suzanne Roberts to Board of Directors

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. has elected Suzanne Roberts, vice
president and general manager of the Sunbrella furnishings business unit to its Board of Directors.
“Suzie
brings deep industry knowledge, global sourcing experience and strong trend analysis and marketing skills to the
Hall of Fame board,” says Steve Rusing, president of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Board of
Directors. “She joins the Board at a foundational time as we continue to develop the Hall of Fame as a place
to gather and to introduce new programming. A longtime supporter of the Hall of Fame, we are happy to welcome
her to the Board and appreciate your ongoing contributions to our mission during our next phase of growth.”
Roberts began
her career in textiles in 1989 with Dickson Elberton Mills, which was acquired by Glen Raven in 1998. In 2008,
Roberts was named as vice president, one of the first female executives in this position for the company. Playing a
central role in the evolution of Sunbrella into the home furnishings market, Roberts was promoted to vice president
of sales and design, and most recently, was named to her current position as vice president and general manager of
Sunbrella furnishings business. During her tenure at Sunbrella, Suzie has been deeply involved in the
development of fabric collections, including co-branded designer collections, that service the needs and desires of
our customers.
