Shifman Hires Mark Quinn, Promotes Phil Zucker, and Expands Sales Team

Shifman Mattresses, a luxury mattress manufacturer, has announced a strategic reorganization of
its leadership and sales teams, which includes the hiring of industry veteran Mark Quinn, the promotion of long-time
company leader Phil Zucker, and the addition of two new sales managers.
Mark Quinn has been appointed as the senior vice president of sales and marketing, a newly established role within
the 131-year-old, family-owned business. In this capacity, Quinn joins the Shifman leadership team and will
collaborate closely with company president Bill Hammer.
“Mark has the acumen and strategic approach to the business that will undoubtedly elevate our marketing
initiatives and forge relationships with high-profile retailers that will position Shifman to exceed industry
expectations and redefine luxury sleep,” said Hammer.
Quinn brings over 35 years of experience in the mattress industry, with expertise in product development, marketing,
and sales. His previous executive roles include positions at Mattress Firm, Leggett & Platt, Sherwood Bedding,
and Serta. Additionally, Quinn co-founded the digital media platform The FAM and co-authored a best-selling book on
Amazon titled Come Back to Bed.

Phil Zucker, formerly the general manager at Shifman since 2012, has been promoted to executive vice president.

In addition to these leadership changes, Shifman has strengthened its sales force with the hiring of two new
territory sales managers. Kaylie Schiavetta will manage the Northeast region, while Jeremy Aston will cover the
Southwest region.
Schiavetta has a background in sales account management and project leadership, previously serving as director of
strategic accounts at Bedgear Performance Bedding. Her experience includes working with top consumer brands like
Steve Madden and Guess.
Aston brings experience in strategic sales planning and market development, having worked with companies such as
Serta Simmons, Purple, and Tempur-Sealy. His retail experience includes managing multiple stores in Boise, Idaho,
and he will play a key role in Shifman’s expansion efforts.
Hammer added, “I’m equally excited to welcome Kaylie and Jeremy, who bring valuable experience and fresh
perspectives that will be instrumental as we continue our strategic expansion in new markets and deepen our valued
retail partnerships.”
