Greg Curry Passes Away at 55

Gregory Andrew Curry, 55, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2021 of natural causes. It was far too early for this son, father, brother, friend, and colleague to leave us.  Greg was born on September 25, 1965 in Fort Wayne, IN; and later moved to CT where he spent most of his youth.  He graduated from Johnson & Wales University in RI, Class of 1988.  

Following in his father’s footsteps, Greg started his 33-year career in the furniture industry.  Greg started by selling retail, moved through the industry in various sales positions and rose through the ranks until he became a founding partner at Engender Furniture, where he was able to put his own furniture designs on the floor. He then worked at Spectra Furniture as the Director of Merchandising. Greg’s passion in furniture was designing, creating, and selling. 

Greg loved large and will be missed greatly. Greg leaves behind his six children, three grandchildren, as well as three nieces and one brother-in-law.  

Greg’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11 am at Bethel Christian Church, 750 Stevens St. Bristol, CT 06010.
