Kingsdown Enters Boxed-Bed Category at Las Vegas Market

As sales continue to grow within the boxed-bed category, luxury bedding brand Kingsdown announces that it has created a roll-pack mattress that will provide its retail partners a competitive edge with a premium branded offering in the category. The boxed mattress was developed to enable retailers to market Kingsdown’s luxury brand in the category and the ability to rise above the flood of imported product coming in from Asia. The mattress will make is debut at the Winter Las Vegas Market Jan. 26-30.
“Our retail partners invited us to develop a Kingsdown boxed-bed design that follows our brand quality ethos. The beds are built to Kingsdown standards with high-quality materials to provide support, performance and luxury not typically found in boxed beds,” said Frank Hood, chief executive officer of Kingsdown. “We know the Kingsdown brand quality resonates with consumers, and this new product lineup will delight a new buyer online.”
Priced to retail at $1,399 in queen, the new bed features Kingsdown’s notable quality and the unique, tactile embroidered cover features a soft, luxurious hand and offers Cool-Touch technology. For additional cooling, the mattress features ventilated comfort layers, gel pads, and high-density responsive foam infused with C3 temperature-regulating technology, designed to maintain a constant sleep temperature.
The mattress is packaged in a premium branded box sporting Kingsdown’s iconic crown logo.

The boxed bed offering will be showcased in Kingsdown’s Las Vegas showroom, space C-1588 of the World Market Center.
