Decorating Den Interiors (DDI) announced that Craftmaster was named Supplier of the Year at DDI's 50th annual international conference and supplier market held recently at the Paris, Las Vegas.  The award, which is voted on by franchisees, is given for exceptional service as well as innovation of products and incentives.

“This is the second consecutive year our design professionals have voted for Craftmaster as Supplier of the Year award.  They go above and beyond in serving us and our clients,” said David Haseley, .sr. vice president of merchandising and marketing. “Craftmaster is a great fit for our LIVV Home Collection™ because custom, built to order and quality, is the strength of our company.”

“Decorating Den Interiors has such a phenomenal group of designers,” said Barbara Calcagne, director of design sales for Southern Roots, the design division for Craftmaster Furniture. “Our goal is to strengthen and develop this partnership. The mission of both companies are very similar and we are very pleased to accept this award.”

Sonny and Gervais Emanuel, of Emanuel Home Furnishings, were presented the Most Outstanding Service Award.  “Sonny has represented lines to DDI for 28 years and brought Taylor King to us in 2004, says Haseley.  “Sonny and Gervais personify the personal service and care that go into decorating.”  Gervais joined Sonny full-time in the business in 2007. They are DDI exclusive representatives for six lines of LIVV Home Collection™ furniture.

Hunter Douglas, Uttermost and Pro Source were presented with sales achievement awards for having the highest sales with franchisees.

“Our LIVV Home Collection™ covers a wide range of home furnishings products and is the cornerstone of our business model. The five suppliers we honored were particularly outstanding in 2018,” said Haseley.

Supplier partnerships key to fulfilling design inspirations

“While celebrating our company’s 50th year in business, we are especially proud of how we have grown our LIVV Home Collection™. It provides our clients with a wide range of customizable options at various price points,” said Haseley. “Great design is about both creativity in concept and customization in furnishings. Before we make a sale, our design professionals must present the client with a personalized design concept. That involves listening, creativity, and access to excellent suppliers.”

“We like to say that we help clients take a room makeover from ‘inspiration to reality.’ Our ability to do this with our no-fee-in-home design consultations depends on our LIVV Home Collection supplier network,” he added. “It’s what differentiates Decorating Den Interiors in the design community.”
