National Ergonomics Conference & ErgoExpo Unveils a Program for 2019

The National Ergonomics Conference & ErgoExpo® (ErgoExpo), the nation’s largest and longest-running ergonomics event, has announced its lineup of speakers and sessions for 2019. With a program designed to provide a variety of solutions for all professional levels and budgets, the conference, being held August 20 - 23, 2019 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, will help attendees build an effective ergonomics program, improve an existing one, maximize ergonomic investments and more.

ErgoExpo provides progressive ideas, complimented by live product demonstrations and unparalleled networking opportunities. 2019 will feature four keynotes led by industry experts, including Dr. Peter Vink, Chair, Department of Design and Engineering, Delft University of Technology, who will open with Comfort in Context: Design Implications for the Future of Seating; John Howard, Director, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will present The Human—Machine Relationship in the 21st Century; Nancy Laurie, Director of Ergonomics/Health & Safety, Wegmans, will speak to Building an Ergonomics Program at Wegmans; and Danny Nou, User Experience Researcher, Facebook, will close with You-ser Centered Workplace Design.

Additionally, more than 50 in-depth and hands-on learning sessions and workshops will give ErgoExpo attendees ample opportunity to dive into presentations by ergonomic heavy-hitters including Delta Air Lines, General Motors, Microsoft, Tesla Inc. and more. A few of the hotly anticipated sessions and workshops include From Foundation to Forefront - Tesla's Ergonomic Integration Into Design and Engineering; Lightweight and Nonrestrictive Exosuits for Improving Human Performance and Preventing Injuries; The State of the Industry With Video, Motion, Wearables and Exoskeletons and Tomorrow’s Technology Challenges and Solutions.
