Nourison Wins in Two Categories at 2019 America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards

Floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison announced that it has won in two categories at the 2019 America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards (AMCA) on Thursday, January 10th at the Museum of Introductions (MOI) Gallery.

America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards, held annually during The Atlanta International Area Rug Market, honors the best in area rug achievements. Nourison’s winning designs include the Prismatic rug (PRS14 Grey/Slate) in the Hand Hooked/Hand Tufted: $0 - 16 retail price per sq. ft. category and the Twilight rug (TWI24 Blue/Ivory) in the Machine Made $400.01+ retail price based on 5’x8’ category.

The Prismatic rug (PRS14 Grey/Slate) features swirling shades of blues, greys and cream creating a deep, almost cosmic design. The luxurious hand-tufted pile is carved for added dimension and texture.

The Twilight rug (TWI24 Blue/Ivory) presents an abstract design like “field paintings” of modern masters, with rich indigo pigments creating fascinating patterns on the ivory ground.
