Recently aspenhome announced that it dedicated a new 323,000 sq. ft. distribution center and corporate offices at 601 N. 75th Ave in Phoenix to their valued retailers and suppliers.

“This building is a tribute to our retail partners who have trusted their businesses to aspenhome and in the process have helped make us who we are today,” stated Bill Colegrove, aspenhome CEO and general manager. “This new building will help us more fully meet their expanding needs as we strive to continuously improve our logistics and warehousing services.”

The dedication highlight came when Colegrove unveiled a Dedication Wall that lists all of the retailers who have trusted their business to aspenhome. This Dedication Wall is located in a highly trafficked area that all aspenhome personnel pass by. “Every day, each one of us is reminded who really makes this business work and why we needed to invest in this new facility,” said Colegrove.

The festivities began with a breakfast, followed by a ribbon cutting and special recognitions. Everyone was invited on an informative tour that showcased the innovative staging area and special racking systems. This paperless logistic system is state-of-the-art in the home furnishings industry.

aspenhome says that its new distribution center will:

  • More than double their inventory capacity in the U.S. to maintain higher stock-in levels of aspenhome products

  • Support their nationwide ASAP 10-day Land Delivery program

  • Increase inbound and outbound truck bays from 8 to 40 to speed up order processing and significantly increase turn around time

  • Enhance the warehouse management system to the latest technology to provide real time inventory information

  • Provide quicker and more accurate order fulfillment

  • Improve overall efficiency and order processing

  • Improve inventory storage that will reduce product damage

  • Improve quality control in product handling

The distribution center and warehousing system were designed by Jack Hawn, CEO of Zenith Global Logistics, a leading expert in furniture logistics and distribution.  Hawn’s experience in creating cutting edge innovations in logistics technology will help aspenhome ensure the highest level of consistency, timeliness and quality of care when handling its products.
