Gabberts Designer Awarded ASID Designer of Distinction for 2008

Gabberts Design Studio and Fine Furnishings announced that Karen Soojian, a Senior Interior Designer with Gabberts Design Studio and Fine Furnishings, received the 2008 ASID Designer of Distinction Award at the recent ASID Award Banquet held in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This marks Karen’s first receipt of this highest ASID award. Karen has been in the design profession for over 20 years and graduated with an Interior Design degree from the New York School of Interior Design. She studied in Australia and was featured in Minnetonka Magazine and for exceptional Vacation properties in the Robb Report. When she moved to the Twin Cities from New Jersey, Karen brought with her a great passion for residential design, coupled with her love of architecture. The results, says Gabberts, are creative mixtures of textures, patterns and color that compliment the overall architecture of her projects.
