The Greater New York Home Furnishings Association announced that Chris Delisa, Vice President of Sales for Home Line Industries will succeed Jordan Greenberg as President of GNYHFA for 2009.
Barbara Goldstein, GNYHFA's Executive Director noted that, "At the December 9, 2008 end of the year Board of Directors meeting, the Board discussed ways in which the GNYHFA needs to support our industry going forward. We applauded our outgoing President Jordan Greenberg owner and operator of Apropos Furniture for doing a great job in his second year as President. Chris, one of the most enthusiastic and talented members of our Board will present his nominations for the Executive Board members at our January 6th meeting."
The Greater New York Home Furnishings Association's membership includes manufacturer’s representatives, design professionals, wholesale and retail furniture sales operations, local warehouse and delivery services, local and national furniture manufacturer and importers, local support and service vendors and the principals and employees of these businesses.
The GNYHFA’s mission is to foster and promote a higher standard of business practices through the exchange of ideas and relationships facilitated at Association events and functions. The Association also seeks to enhance the image of the Home Furnishings industry and improve consumer appreciation for its goods and services.
