Gorman’s Home Furnishings and Interior Design announced that it was recently named as a Top Workplace in Michigan by the Detroit Free Press newspaper. The style-leader in home furnishings and design received the honor in the small business category. More than 190 employers and 23, 000 employees, from across southeast Michigan responded to the newspaper’s Top Workplaces survey this past summer. Companies were evaluated on revenue, incentives offered and number of employees. Gorman’s has approximately 120 employees at four showrooms and a warehouse throughout metro Detroit.
