Shine Home, award winning designers of a vibrant and sophisticated home line, announced that they are debuting an ambitious new collection at the High Point Fall Market, October 20th – 26th. Shine Home’s showroom is located on the ground floor of the IHFC Building, Interhall IH502. Shine Home’s new collection broadens the scope of each of its current categories of upholstery, case goods, tables, lighting, accessories and artwork. In addition to new products in all of its existing categories, Shine Home will debut a bed and decorative pillow collection for Fall 2008. Susan Hornbeak-Ortiz, Shine Home’s creative visionary attributed the inspiration of her latest collection to a wide variety of influences both internal and external. “I have always been drawn to clean, contemporary lines, however my recent European travels inspired me to integrate classic European styling into Shine Home’s new collection.” The fusion of modern design principles and old world styling can be most seen in two signature pieces in the new collection. The Edinburgh sofa takes its inspiration from a classic Chesterfield design, but has been updated with sweeping rounded arms, polished stainless steel legs and featured in an unexpected striped fabric. The Marbella buffet is a modern sideboard with timeless design but incorporates a dramatic flair with its sweeping appliqué inspired from classic European architecture. “Many of our best customers have been asking when we would design a collection of beds with true Shine Home style” proclaimed Hornbeak-Ortiz. “I am personally very proud of the bed collection not only because it will create excitement in a very important category of business, but because each bed is truly reflective of the Shine Home brand. The debut of the Shine Home bed collection incorporates the company’s signature use of shape, color and texture. The collection consists of three brand new designs, the Florence, Moorea and Ibiza and will be offered in the complete Shine Home fabric library.
