Tri-State HFA Announces Art Bergman as Emcee for Awards Dinner

Tri-State HFA announced that Art Bergman, former Bassett representative, comic and story teller will entertain Association members and guests as emcee and will deliver his sure-fire comedy and stories on Tuesday evening, November 18 at Doubletree Guest Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA Awards will be presented at the dinner to retail stores and representatives. TSHFA members vote for Retailer and Representative of the Year, as well as a Congeniality award for professionalism in retailers’ dealings with sales representatives. Committee chosen awards for advertising will be presented to Fecera’s of Reading, Sinking Spring and Collegeville. Young Representative Heidi Sager will receive a presentation, as will Ted Matela of Diamond Furniture as Young Retailer. Several Senior Service Awards will be presented to long-time representatives Sol Sauls and Bernie Shikoff, CHR. This year, the Association will also induct new members of the Executive Committee at the affair. Gary Diamond will become president, the first retail president in 15 years. Robin Getzoff, CHR will move into Board Chair and Ed Myers will retire as Board Chair as he will become IHFRA president next spring. Tri-State HFA Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday evening, November 18 at Doubletree Guest Suites in Plymouth Meeting, PA with cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m. and dinner and awards to follow beginning at 7:30. Plymouth Meeting is in suburban Philadelphia and the location is convenient to PA Turnpike, I-476 (Blue Route), Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike and Schuylkill Expressway.
