Riverside Furniture Asks To Participate in AHFA Environmental Program

Riverside Furniture announced that it formally submitted a request to participate in the EFEC environmental program established by the American Home Furnishings Alliance. EFEC, an acronym for Enhancing Furniture’s Environmental Culture, is a voluntary environmental management system created by AHFA to provide a systematic approach to improve environmental performance and company operations. According to Riverside’s Vice President of Operations, Greg Adams, the company “is enthusiastic about improving environmental management practices and the potential that EFEC Certification process will have on all aspects of Riverside’s business.” Riverside Furniture designs, imports and manufactures mid-price point furniture in bedroom, casual dining, entertainment and home office categories. The company maintains its corporate headquarters and domestic production and warehousing facilities in Fort Smith, AR.
