Chris Clarizio presents a $5000 cancer fighting check to Joe Valentine from the Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation he Metropolitan Furnishing Association of New Jersey (MFA) in conjunction with DMCCF, held a fund raising golf outing at the Knoll Country Club in Parsippany New Jersey on June 16,2008. More than 160 industry members, friends and family enjoyed the day of good golf, finefood and a series of fund raising activities to benefit the Clarizio Foundation. The Clarizio Foundation was created three years ago to assist families with the financial burdens typically associated with long-term illness including cancer as well as cancer research. Dean Michael Clarizio died of cancer in 2005 at the age of 34. His brother Chris, a sales representative for Klaussner Home Furnishings, is president of the foundation www.deanmichaelclariziofoundation.org.
