Capel Set to Unveil New Collections At Summer Markets

Capel Incorporated, America's oldest and largest privately-owned rug importer and manufacturer, announced that it will debut a lively and eclectic assortment of new rug collections, colors, shapes and designs this summer. Visitors to Capel's showrooms will see four new collections - including one from the growing Capel Anywhere™ division - alongside expanded designs from popular Sweet William Collection. Capel will also unveil the American Original™ Style and Shape Matrix, providing customers with an large number of custom shape, style and size options. NEW INTRODUCTIONS New Collection MADISON Super soft underfoot, Madison serves as the perfect room addition for the young – or young at heart. This 95% cotton, 5% polyester bordered chenille rug is available in five colorways: daisy, pistachio, sky, lavender and petunia, and is truly customizable with one of four complimentary border colors: black, brown, pink or blue. New Collection BUNGALOW Shipshape horizontal stripes dominate Capel's hand loomed Bungalow collection, a 100% wool rug made in India. A Country Living™ branded product, Bungalow's color palette runs the gamut from soft and earthy, to bold and spirited: available in brown/cream, pewter/brown, taupe/red and yellow/blue. A 5' x 8' rug retails for $319. New Collection FLORENCE This vibrant new machine woven collection is made of 100% olefin and features intricate mosaic designs silhouetted against bold backgrounds. Florence, made in France, adds dynamic interest in the home and is available in five colorways: sage, onyx, ruby, creme and cafe. A 5'3" x 7'6" rug retails for $199. New Collection CABANA STRIPES The Capel Anywhere™ indoor-outdoor collection expands this market with Cabana Stripes, a reversible braid that embraces refreshingly natural hues. Made in Capel's North Carolina mills of 100% polypropylene, these adaptable rugs are colorfast and mold and mildew resistant. Available in olive, navy, rouge and brown, a 5' x 8' rug retails for $239. New Patterns SWEET WILLIAM The jacquard-woven Sweet William collection takes design inspiration from the school of William Morris and draws on fresh colors that have already garnered industry-wide acclaim. Sweet William, made in Belgium, now is available in four new patterned colorways: lotus, forest, grand paisley and sultana. A 4'10" x 8' rug retails for $399. Capel's American Original™ Style and Shape Matrix As part of its dynamic in-house custom rug program, Capel will introduce the American Original™ Style and Shape Matrix this summer, empowering consumers to design custom braids for any space and budget. Unlike other offerings, Capel hand-sews its American Original™ rugs by the inch in its North Carolina mills. The result is an unprecedented number of custom shape, style and size options for consumers. Available shapes include rectangles, ovals, rounds, runners, chair pads and stair treads, while custom designs include vertical or horizontal stripes, stair runners and concentric circles.
