Capel Rugs, America's oldest and largest privately-owned rug manufacturer and importer, announce that it will present new collections, designs, colorways and shapes at the 2008 Home Furnishing Market at High Point, April 7-13, 2008. The Capel showroom is located at Market Square, space 112. Exploring the rich heritage of designs and textures with an emphasis on bold, red colorways, Capel will unveil a new look to this year's showroom that emphasizes the unique beauty of each Capel rug. "We wanted to bring something bold and striking to the table this year," said Allen Robertson. "We've definitely accomplished that with the new display at the forefront of our showroom that highlights not only the stand-alone beauty of each Capel rug, but also their great versatility." Visitors to the main showroom entrance will see a wide selection of Capel rugs in predominantly red colorways and showcased in a new minimalist, modern setting. Many of the designs are influenced by the warm colors and rich heritage found in India and China. The newly designed entry will showcase the unparalleled quality of each Capel rug and its ability to mesh with any design palate in any home. Inspired by the beauty of the Biltmore Estate at Christmas, Poinsettia's all wool micro loop hook center features a ring of seasonal poinsettias is framed by a wool blend braid border. new collection AMERICAN ORIGINALS™: Capel is introducing two new American Originals™ collections at High Point. Featuring a clean, monochromatic look and attractive textures, Heathered and Essence offer subtle floor coverings that may be easily coordinated with any design palate.
