Furniture Brands Appoints Mike Heath as President of Pearson

Furniture Brands International announced that Mike Heath has been named President of The Pearson Company, replacing Sam Boyd who will retire in April. "Mike has over 27 years experience in the furniture industry in the Lane and Pearson organizations," said Daniel R. Bradley, president of Furniture Brands' Designer Brand Group. "He has held various positions in Finance, Sales and Marketing and most recently served as Director of Marketing and Regional Sales Manager. Mike has exceptional productand broad business knowledge of the Pearson operation which will be invaluable to him in his new position. "I am excited to offer Mike this role and expect that he will build on the foundation that Sam has built at Pearson. I believe Mike is the leader that will grow the Pearson brand promise in the design community and with our consumers," Mr. Bradley said.
