Jeffery Monroe Long, Husband of HPMA's Kim Wray, Dead At 48

Jeffrey Monroe Long, husband of High Point Marketing Authority executive Kimberley Wray, died suddenly late last week. He was 48. Long, a self-employed photographer, often accompanied Wray to High Point Market events. His photography was most recently featured in American Profiles in a feature story about High Point. In addition to Wray, Long is survived by the couple’s pets; his mother-in-law Barbara Wray; his parents Arless Long and Lee Jeremias; Margaret Jones, longtime companion to his father; and a daughter, Renea Long. A memorial service was held Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in High Point. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jeffrey Long Memorial Fund, c/o High Point Bank, P.O.
