Biermann and Denton Join Comfort Solutions

Comfort Solutions strengthened its executive sales team with the recent additions of Brent Biermann and Scott Denton. Biermann was named vice president of sales for the North Central region, and Denton is vice president of sales for the Eastern region. The pair has more than 30 years combined experience in the industry with several companies. Biermann joined Comfort Solutions after spending the last three years operating an MRINetwork executive search franchise he and his wife purchased in 2004. His company was responsible for the search and placement of management executives in durable consumer product positions in the furniture and bedding industries. It’s a territory he was quite familiar with, having worked the previous 14 years with Serta and Sealy as a plant general manager and in several executive sales positions. He also has 10 years of department store retail buying experience with Dayton Hudson Marshall Field, Donaldson’s and JC Penney. “I look forward to continuing a career in a great industry that truly has a lot of positive things going for it,” Biermann said. “We plan to grow Comfort Solution’s business by providing compelling products with exceptional value to our current, as well as our new dealer base.” Denton has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience on his resume. Half of those years were accumulated at Sealy, where he most recently served as vice president of field sales for regional furniture stores. During his tenure, he was recognized for helping the company improve its sales performance. He also spent time at two other industry organizations, in addition to working for the Energizer Battery Company. “I believe the industry needs a company like Comfort Solutions that takes an entrepreneurial and innovative direction,” said Denton. “With growth being driven from outside the innerspring business, companies need to re-invent themselves or perish.
