SolaraHome announced that it is set to debut three leading edge home theater seating collections at the Las Vegas Furniture Market in January. SolaraHome is a division of Elite Screens, an established player in the pro Audio Video Accessories channel, which recently announced its decision to sell to the residential home furnishings segment. SolaraHome’s Mistral Collection is a highly functional media room sofa that keeps the media room clutter-free. Without compromising floor space, Mistral readily transforms into a loveseat with two flanking manual recliners. It features fold-down arm rests that offer extra space for beverages as well as a hidden floor-level game system compartment. The curved forum seating ensures everyone a good view, and an ottoman with internal storage option provides additional comfort and functionality. Each piece is available in sleek black or rich dark brown top-grain leather. “The Mistral Collection is well suited to the aficionado who wants to create a luxury home theater or gaming experience,” said Tiffany Wu, new business development director for SolaraHome. “We’ve put a lot of thought into the features consumers appreciate — from the innovative floor-level sliding compartment for media storage to our space-saving drop recline mechanism that allows viewers multiple recline settings. And for retailers, we focused on affordable price points and in-stock availability.” The Cinema Collection is a microfiber home theater sofa that features three seats, four cup holders and storage compartments under wide armrests to accommodate remote control units, DVDs or other media. The group is available in beige, light burgundy and mocha covers. High density foam fill cushions create comfortable seating. The manual recliner mechanism allows for multiple angle settings. The Sonic Seating line is made up of single leather match recliners with a popular home theater look and the built-in functionality of all SolaraHome products. Each is ergonomically designed for maximum comfort. Sonic Seating also includes a cup holder and full extension manual reclining options.
