PROFITsystems Promotes Parlin within First Year of Service

PROFITsystems, Inc. announced the promotion of Shelley Parlin to vice president of professional services after less than one year, according to Jeff Niskern, company president. Parlin assumed the role of director of professional services when she joined PROFITsystems in January. Prior to taking the position, she was on the management team for Parlin’s Furniture in Battle Creek, MI, a 30-year, family-owned furniture retail business which has used PROFITsystems products and services since 1993. “As a former client over the past decade, Shelley’s intimate knowledge of the benefits we deliver to retailers allowed her to hit the ground running,” says Niskern. “Her professionalism and significant contributions to our team and our clients since January merit the new title, which more accurately reflects her level of responsibility with PROFITsystems.” Reporting to Niskern, Parlin’s responsibilities include retail client communications, marketing and education of best retail practices. She is a featured speaker and author in the home goods industry. Parlin also works extensively with the PROFITsystems executive management team to refine and implement the company’s mission and goals.
