Leggett & Platt Announces Personnel Changes

Leggett and Platt announced that Phillip Herrin, currently VP of Sales - Southeast Region for L&P’s Consumer Products Group, will be assuming the role of VP of Contract/Hospitality Sales effective February 1, 2008. Phillip has been with L&P for 19 years, including 6 years in the Bedding Group as Customer Service Manager and Sales Manager, and 13 years with the Consumer Products Group in sales and Sales Management. Phillip will be replacing Dick Bullock, current VP of Sales for Contract/Hospitality for L&P’s Consumer Products Group, who will be retiring on January 31, 2008. Dick has a long 43-year history in the furniture business, having worked with Levitz, Haynes Furniture, Burdines, and L & P’s Duro Division as both a sales representative and as VP of Sales prior to his current position as VP Sales Contract/Hospitality. Replacing Phillip Herrin will be Laura Nix, who is being promoted to the position of VP of Sales – Southeast Region for L&P’s Consumer Products Group. Laura has a successful history in Customer Service, Sales, and Sales Management. After attending college to pursue nursing, she joined the Boling Company, a leading supplier of office furniture in Customer Service. After working in the furniture components industry as Customer Service Manager, Sales Representative, and Sales Manager with several firms, Laura joined L&P’s Consumer Products Group in 2003 as Sales Representative for all of North Carolina and the coastal area of South Carolina.
