Employees of casegoods manufacturer Leda Furniture were rewarded for years of service and dedication at the company’s recent Employee Appreciation and Bar-B-Que event. The annual event is held every year around the Labour Day weekend and employees are encouraged to invite their families to the event. “Employees are one of the main cornerstones in any company, another being customers, and while customers are always thanked and acknowledged, we can never neglect our team of Leda employees whose cumulative sole purpose is to ensure customer satisfaction, “ states company president Marco L. Confalone. This year’s event honoured Lam Ly, who received recognition award for her 20 years of service as a Leda employee. Also, all employees received new work shirts as appreciation for their commitment to quality and service. “Thank you for your dedication in repeatedly demonstrating commitment and loyalty. It is employees like you that make Leda Furniture continue to be successful,“ was the closing statement of the event by the company’s Vice President, Sergio Confalone.
