Asian Loft, which has been showing in Market Square since 2004, announced that it has relocated to space M47 just next to their previous showroom. Although it is just next door, the new space that Asian Loft will occupy is much larger at 4200 square feet. Their previous showroom was 2700 square feet. “With the space we had, we were not able to keep enough products in the showroom during High Point Markets,” said Phillip Soneville, owner of Asian Loft. “This new showroom will allow us to show a broader range of products to our customers and help us to increase our sales at Market.” Asian Loft will not only be opening their new showroom for the Fall High Point Market, they will also be debuting new additions to their collection, including gold- and silver-leaf pieces and, for the first time, European antiques. AAsian Loft is well known for its Chinese and Japanese antique furniture and accessories at very competitive prices. All pieces are unique and have been personally selected in China or Japan. Asian Loft offers quality and originality in Chinese and Japanese furniture and decoration. Most of the unusual antiques are found in the small towns and villages of the countryside or at auctions where they are collected in their original condition. Many are fantastically old with most coming from the Ming and Qing dynasties, which date back to 1368AD. A crew of skilled craftsmen restore the pieces before shipping. Asian Loft also supplies reproductions on request, in standard sizes. They can be made to the customer’s own design. This is especially useful for the decoration of hotels and offices and department stores. “Asian Loft has been a great addition to our product mix in Historic Market Square that caters to higher-end, unique home furnishings,” said Tom Mitchell, senior vice president and general manager of Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., “We are thrilled with their commitment and success at the High Point Market.” For more information about Asian Loft, visit www.asianloft.com.
