Biltmoreä For Your Home, the licensed products division of Biltmore, announced that the company will introduce introducing a number of products in association with its partners during the upcoming International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. The fall show will include Biltmoreä For Your Home introductions from Capel, Oriental Accent, Inc. and Austin Productions. In the late 1800s, George Vanderbilt came to Western North Carolina where he built a 250-room French Renaissance chateau, Biltmore House, as the centerpiece of an estate that still measures 8,000 acres. Today, Biltmoreä For Your Home draws inspiration from the entertaining and hospitality extended to Vanderbilt’s guests at the turn of the century. Categories showcasing the quality and craftsmanship of Biltmore include home furnishings, building products and outdoor living and landscape. Three new Biltmore For Your Home collections by Capel will be making a debut at this fall’s High Point market. The first, South Terrace, is a collection of Capel Anywhere® indoor-outdoor rugs that feature a durable Sunbrella® fabric border offered in four colorways: bamboo, fern, slate and crimson. The second new introduction, Heirlooms, contains four intricately hand-knotted Eastern designs, Agra, Bakhtiar, Mahal and Sultanabad available in four colorways: multi, black/cream, navy/red and red/black. Solaria-Gate House, the newest indoor-outdoor addition to Capel’s Biltmoreä For Your Home collection, is made in France and available in three colorways: chambray, blush, and cocoa. Oriental Accent is adding 25-30 new pieces to its Biltmore line. The first collection, a blue- and white- themed assortment, is inspired by fine art from the Ming Dynasty located in the Biltmore House library. The second is a more casual collection featuring climbing green vine designs inspired by the estate gardens and grounds. Oriental Accent is also adding new designs to its existing Biltmoreä For Your Home Sheraton collection. The collections include items such as vases, canisters, lamps and other decorative accessories. Austin Productions will expand its Biltmoreä For Your Home offering with new decorative accessories echoing the grandeur of Biltmore House and George Vanderbilt’s extensive assortment of fine art. Pieces in the collection will include mirrors, candelabras, bookends and statues, all replicas of accessories found on display in the house. “Consumers appetite for quality products and experiences associated with the exceptional living inspired by Biltmore is on the upswing. This was demonstrated by a record year for all of Biltmore’s businesses,” said Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmoreä For Your Home. “Each new introduction at High Point is exciting because it gives our consumers additional opportunities to experience Biltmore in their home every day.” Current Biltmoreä For Your Home licensees include Amarr Garage Doors, Anderson Hardwood Floors, Andrea by Sadek, Austin Productions, Capel, Cottage Gardens, DeNunzio, DiErras, Elk Lighting, Ellington, Executive Kitchens, Fypon, Greenleaf Nursery, Habersham, Kravet Fabrics, Magnussen Home, Manual Woodworkers and Weavers, Moulding Associates, Inc., Netherland Bulb Co., Olympic Paints, Oriental Accent, Inc., Premier Mantels, Inc., Purple Sage, Southern Living House Plans, Sterling Designs and Summer Classics. About Biltmore: Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Biltmore was the vision of George W. Vanderbilt, who first opened Biltmore House to friends and family on Christmas Eve 1895.
